Job Description
A Procurement Executive is responsible for acquiring goods and services at the best possible value while
ensuring quality standards are met. They manage supplier relationships and oversee the procurement
process to support smooth business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
- Review, compare, and analyze products and services to determine optimal purchasing decisions.
- Develop procurement plans for equipment, services, and supplies based on organizational needs.
- Estimate and manage procurement budgets and cost parameters to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier
performance.
- Track and report key procurement metrics to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, including delivery times, product/service ranges, and
capacity for future growth.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and make recommendations for improvement or replacement.
- Research and assess new suppliers to ensure competitiveness, quality, and compliance.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and recommend suppliers based on performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing shifts, and changes in the telecommunications supply
chain.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master?s
preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and documentation.
- Discretion, integrity, and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive information or negotiations.
- Proficiency in procurement software/tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
